Asian Lettuce Wraps

Tastes better from scratch!


+ 16oz ground turkey

+ 1 bell pepper, sliced

+ 1 cup shredded carrots

+ 1 tbsp ginger, minced

+ 1 bunch scallions

+ 1 head of bibb lettuce or romain hearts

+ 1 tbsp soy sauce

+ olive oil

+ seasoning: salt, black pepper, garlic powder

+ optional toppings: green scallions and sesame seeds


Step 1

Chop your veggies!

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat olive oil. Add ginger and white scallions, heat until fragrant (2-3 minutes). Toss in bell pepper and shredded carrots, saute on medium heat for 5 - 7 minutes or until soft. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Push the veggies off to the side and add the ground turkey to the same pan. Season with pepper and garlic powder. Once the ground turkey is fully cooked, mix the veggies in and add soy sauce.

Step 4

Wash the lettuce and plate - fill with the ground turkey mixture and top with scallions and sesame seeds.
